This short (6 minute) film by George Monbiot is based on his recent book Regenesis: Feeding the world without devouring the planet.
Whilst Monbiot says a different world is possible he says nothing about some of the problems with assumption around technical fixes – not just whether they really work but also who controls the new modes of production (in this case of protein etc), the disruption to traditional ways of life and cultural norms and so much more.
